There are approximately 809 acres of land slightly northeast of downtown Conway, straddled across Collins Jollie Road that are in the planning stages. Maple Hill, Ridgewood West and Dudley Farms are a few of the existing subdivisions that are located near where this property will be developed. This property has been named the Collins Jollie Conservation Subdivision.
The Master Plan for the Collins Jollie Subdivision is proposing a total of 1,333 units (single-family detached and single-family attached) across approximately 809 acres, while splitting the property into multiple tracts (with multiple owners) for development. Each tract that is being split off will need to be developed in accordance with the approved Master Plan.
Maple Grove is the name of one of the subdivisions within the master planned community of Collins Jollie.
D. R. Horton submitted the initial plans for Maple Grove. D. R. Horton has been the largest homebuilder by volume in the US for several years and is very active in the Myrtle Beach area, with over 30 ongoing development projects in the area.
Preliminary plans from D. R. Horton for two of the tracts combined are to build homes on 512-single-family lots – maintaining 72.05-acres of Open Space (with an amenity center, pool & only exterior soft paths). D. R. Horton plans for a third tract are to build 180-duplex units - maintaining 12.58-acres of Open Space (containing an amenity center, pool, dog park & only exterior soft paths).
Preliminary plans for Maple Grove are to build 176 single family homes:
Phase 1 to have 53 lots, 24.15 acres of Open Space and two external access points
Phase 2 to have 60 lots and 18.84 acres of Open Space
Phase 3 to have 63 lots and 7.76 acres of Open Space
